You've Got Talent (for now, at least)

According to the first two reports from Talent Edge 2020, Deloitte’s global survey series on talent strategies and trends, organizations should be keeping a sharp eye on their young talent if they want (and who doesn’t) to retain their future stars and build a strong leadership bench. Among the findings of the research are warnings that, with the recovery, 65% of employees surveyed are actively or passively looking or planning on looking for new opportunities – with Gen Xers leading the pack. As the second report in the series, Building the recovery together, notes, “Companies that adapt their talent and retention strategies to meet generational desires will be rewarded, while those that do not could find themselves on the losing edge of the competition for talent.” Building the recovery together, published in April, and Blueprints for the new normal, published in December, provide valuable insights on the current and future state of talent, along with ideas on winning the talent war.
